In order to continue feeding the animals, we need to build the largest food storage area in South-Eastern Romania in our shelter in Cernavoda.
We will then be able to store substantial amounts of food and feed more animals in Romania and Ukraine.

THE NEW
STORAGE AREA
To feed
the animals
The existing storage area, built in the aftermath of the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, is no longer large enough to store substantial amounts of food while maintaining hermetic dry conditions.
The new facility will enable us to distribute 2,600,000 meals to abandoned animals in Romania and Ukraine.

Umca, a severely malnourished kitten with an obviously deformed paw was rescued in an industrial part of Odessa, Ukraine.
Many ravenous dogs wander around this area, desperately looking for food in scrap yards amidst piles of old rusty car parts and garbage.
Rushed to a clinic, it took several weeks of treatment before Umca began to regain a healthy weight.
He is in safe hands now and is being fed daily by a volunteer who took him into her home along with many other animals rescued from pitiful conditions.
It is only thanks to the food we are sending that animals like Umca can survive.
