Do you work or volunteer with animals? Join us at the 23rd edition of the ICAWC conference!
From 3-5 October we will be in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, attending the 23rd International Companion Animal Welfare Conference (ICAWC), which is held annually in a different European city.
This event offers participants comprehensive training on a variety of topics, from dog education to emergency response strategies to managing relationships with local authorities.
During the three-day event, top professionals in the field will share their experiences in the field with the participants, inspiring and educating other activists and colleagues attending the conference.
The Save the Dogs team will deliver two presentations: the first, led by our president Sara Turetta, will be dedicated to Friends on the Streets, Companions for Life, our project assisting animals belonging to the homeless in Milan. The second will feature Gregg Tully, executive director of Romania, who will take part in a panel discussion regarding the response to the Ukraine emergency.
